Yesterday, a little gray poodle was hanging around the house, not letting anyone get close enough to read its tags. I went out and said, “Sweetie, would you like some water?” And then the man weeding the flower beds said, “Um, no thank you.”

If you happen to be anywhere near Atlanta this summer, be sure to go to the Botanical Garden. It is having a show of Henry Moore sculptures, just here through October, then back to England they go. Atlanta has done a splendid job of placing them through the garden … it is truly a sight to see.

On the other hand, the blue highways of northern Georgia may not have meandered all that far from Tobacco Road. You can still purchase this treat for the kiddies.
